ADNEN is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered charity number 1212055, with its principal office in England, established to relieve poverty and advance education for communities in Northeast Nigeria.
Northeast Nigeria has faced years of conflict and displacement, leaving many families without reliable access to food, healthcare, and basic services, and many children without the resources they need to learn. ADNEN exists to channel support to the people and institutions closest to these needs.
Rather than run programs directly on the ground, we work by funding organisations already operating in the region — giving grants that let them purchase essential items and services they could not otherwise afford.
The prevention and relief of poverty, and relief to those in need in Northeast Nigeria — particularly, but not exclusively, those displaced by conflict — through grants to organisations operating in the region to procure essential items and services, including food packages, access to healthcare and medical supplies, personal care items, medical treatment, and any other resources identified by the trustees as necessary to meet a basic standard of living.
To advance the education of school-aged children in Northeast Nigeria through the provision of books, teaching materials, and any other practical support schools require to fully operate.
ADNEN is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, with trustees overseeing every grant to ensure it serves our stated objects.
